Some things are just better together.
Data quality + governance.
Coffee + chocolate.
Why not all of the above?!
Join Ataccama for this invite-only virtual tasting experience, where we’ll pair a guided coffee and chocolate tasting with a customer story from Progressive Insurance.
Why attend?
It’s not just about the chocolate and coffee! You’ll hear directly from Progressive Insurance’s Data Governance Lead, Piyush Jain, on how he turned data governance from a blocker into an offense strategy.
As Piyush puts it: “Data is the first thing you ask for, but the last thing you think about.”
Instead of adding more rules and controls, his “Free the Data” initiative partnered with security to protect only what truly needed protecting, so the rest could flow freely. What started as a small but mighty team of one grew into an enterprise network of 250 practitioners, and a data foundation built for AI.
Join this virtual tasting experience to:
- Learn from a real enterprise journey: Hear firsthand how Progressive built its governance program from a team of 1 into a 70-person enterprise organization.
- Get AI-ready: Hear what data readiness for AI really means at an enterprise like Progressive.
- Flip the governance script: Learn why treating governance as offense, not defense, changes how the business sees your team.
- Free your data, safely: See how Piyush partnered with security to democratize data across the enterprise.
- Go from knowing to managing: Shift from “knowing” data is an asset to actually managing it like one.
How it works
- Request your invitation: We review every request to keep the room small, interactive, and senior. Registration for this event closes on November 20th.
- Confirm your kit: Once approved, we’ll confirm your spot and collect your shipping address so your craft coffee and chocolate kit arrives in advance.
- Sip, savor & connect: Join us on December 3rd for an off-the-record discussion with fellow data leaders and our guest speaker from Progressive Insurance, Piyush Jain.
Speakers
Piyush Jain leads enterprise data governance, architecture and privacy at Progressive, where he has worked in the field since 2008. Starting with the company’s first governance program in its Claims organization, he took on the enterprise role in 2016 and has grown the team of one into a 70-person enterprise organization and a federated network of about 250 practitioners across business units. Today he is focused on making Progressive’s data ready for AI, from automating discovery and curation for data stewards to building the context layer that AI systems rely on.
