Toronto, Canada, February 10, 2020—Ataccama, a leading provider of Self-Driving Data Management and Governance Solutions, opened two fundraising campaigns in response to the catastrophic fires across Australia: one for Australian Red Cross and the other for WIRES. These organizations were selected based on their strong records of direct impact, as well as their rapid response to this most recent crisis.
Ataccama employees raised $8,250 Australian dollars in under two weeks. Thanks to the company’s long-standing promise to double each dollar raised through its company charitable campaigns and events, a total of $16,500 AUD was sent directly to the Red Cross and WIRES to aid their on-the-ground work in the impacted areas.
Ataccama, whose presence has historically been centered in North America and Europe, expanded more visibly into the APAC region in recent years.
