Any user in your organization should be able to easily search for, find, and use data they need to drive business value and gain a competitive advantage—and do so in a self-service way, without any barriers or unnecessary bottlenecks. Users should no longer need to ask (and wait) for help from a more technical team (usually IT), because data is now an organizational asset and its maintenance is an organizational responsibility. They should be confident in the quality and completeness of that data, and rest easy, knowing that policies around who can access and use data are applied and enforced automatically.

When it comes to your organization’s data quality, why and how should data democratization and a self-service approach be promoted? Join us for an interactive panel touching on topics such as:

  • The merits of centralized vs. federated models
  • Empowering the business vs. central rule depository management
  • The importance of DQ literacy
  • Why automation & self-service are key to data-driven decision-making
  • Common objections / reservations to democratizing DQ

This panel discussion is part of EDM Council's DataVision 2021 Virtual Conference (Americas).
